Other Higher Education legislation

Two public universities in Sweden have additional regulations, stipulated in special Ordinances. These are the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) and the Swedish Defence University.

Additionally, Sweden has a number of private, or independent, Higher Education Institutions, which have a different legal status from the public ones.
