Special circumstances

You may also be able to get prolongation if your studies were delayed due to lack of conditions: for example, if the university was unable to provide the resources for your research, if your supervisor was unavailable for a while, or if external conditions, such as a partner institution in a research project, caused delays. One such example is the COVID-19 pandemic.

You should document delays due to such circumstances in your ISP.
